I'm headed to Deal's Gap
at the end of this month. This will be my first time there on a SportBike since 2003. Last year I rode the ZX-14 on the first trip and the ST-1300 on the second.
To update you on the 848 ... my break-in service took place only 3 weeks after taking the bike home!! Keeping it under 6k rpm until that service was hard, but not as hard as keeping it under 7k rpm for 300 more miles. My tech said I could open her up after 900 miles ... I DID ... W O W !!!! I cannot easily describe how this bike makes me feel.
There will be lots of stories and pictures once I earn my wings... |
