My latest mod is perhaps my greatest victory!
With the help of Dan Kyle of Kyle USA, I was able to get reverse (GP) shifting on my VFR. A task that many have attempted, but none have accomplished without heavy modification and/or the use of non-VFR parts. Dan set me up with rearsets from Sato. They make conventional shift rearsets for the VFR, but not reverse shift. Dan's suggestion was to replace the standard shift pedal (with its linkage on the bottom) with another Sato piece (with the linkage on the top). They made the necessary part changes and Dan sent the rearsets to me. The installation was a breeze and they function flawlessly!!
